The Suitor, the Kiss and the Wandering Womb

1999 – Produced for KISSY KISSY – an exhibition to celebrate the temporary return of Rodin’s sculpture ‘The Kiss’ to Lewes, the town where it was commissioned (in 1900) by Edward Percy Warren of Lewes House.

Four wooden panels hinged together to form a book, with carved wooden covers illustrating The Kiss; frontispiece and three images – coloured woodcuts on Nepalese paper – glued to the wooden boards.
